It generally includes myself and my show's producer, The X-Man.  Sometimes we agree and sometimes I tell him he's wrong on that.....(lol) 

The Pursuit of Optimum Happiness

This was broadcast live on Sunday July 14, 2019 at 8am (cdt) with the guest Errol Garner, researcher and author.  He's back to continue our discussion from 2018 on what happiness is and how to attain it. 

He and his wife Marjorie authored the Discovering Your Optimum Happiness Index (OHI).  The interview contains discussion on transformational holistic characteristic's impacting the: spiritual, moral, social, intellectual, and physical in human beings.

The Sunday Edition: Rev. Gary Emas

This show aired live on Sunday, Rev. Gary Emas of Chicago-based Evangelists and author discussed his book El Elyon: Fact or Fiction.  This was a spirted discussion for sure when the subject came to today's Christians and the community of faith.  

So You Want to Be Nashville's Next Mayor...

Who will be Nashville's next Mayor?  10 candidates are running and in the interest of fairness I generally ask each candidate not just the most popular to give their thoughts and opinions on how they would run this city.  The citizens get to hear from candidates that are overlooked by local TV stations because they are not in the top tier.  So in the name of fairness we hear from all of them, listeners can call in and ask a question if they feel compelled.  Let the voters decide.  

First one up is Julia Clark Johnson. The 2nd candidate didn't show up for his allotted time.   

 

 

Wednesday Afternoon Edition

This show aired live on WFSK on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 4pm (cdt).  1st guest was Safety Instructor Howard Mallen on tips on what to know and look for before hopping into a ride-sharing vehicle.  Up next was career coach and author Jane Finkle to discuss how introverts can use their natural qualities to their advantage.  She's author of The Introvert's Career Guide.    

So, You Want to Be Nashville's Next Mayor...

This show aired lived on WFSK Wednesday June 26th at 5pm (cdt).  Since all politics are local, I've always committed on my show to give candidates of particular races an opportunity to give their ideas on why they should be considered to become the next whatever position they are seeking.   The important Mayoral races is near and we have a record 10 candidates running to be Nashville's next Mayor.  Each of the 10 ae given 25 a piece to be on the air on the show to address questions from your truly or those from voters.  

The two candidates on this day were: Jimmy Lawrence and John Cooper Metro At-Large Councilman.   

Pastor's Roundtable (Happy Father's Day 2019)

I chose to go positive today and not to beat dad's and men up because each of us is born into different circumstances, yet many of us rise.  My guest pastors are proof of that.  Their stories, sharing and wisdom was very encouraging for  father's.   

Guest pastors were: Rev. Samuel Orr of Rock United Ministries and Rev. Jason Curry Dean of the Fisk Memorial Chapel.

This 411 Show was live on Sunday 6-13-19 at 7:00am to 8:00am.  The 2nd hour is on another posted Episode. 3rd Sunday on my show is the Monthly Pastor's RoundTable.  Guests pastors were Rev. Samuel Orr of Rock United Ministries and Rev. Jason Curry Dean of the Fisk Memorial Chapel.  

I start with chat and headlines, then guest pastors join me about halfway in and stay through the next 90 minutes.  Hour 2 is on the next episode.   

Artists of the Week Interview - Patrice Jegou'

The WFSK weekly feature was developed by Sharon Kay in 2006 to help stay up on the latest in from smooth & contemporary jazz music and artists.  To date more than 550 interviews have been conducted under the banner of WFSK Artist of the Week"

For the week of June 8 through June 14, 2019 the Artist of the Week was vocalists Patrice Je'gou.  She was a professional figure skater at the top of her game, touring with an ice show in Mexico after years of coaching figure skating in New Zealand. And has recently released her second project "If It Ain't Love" with cuts featuring Take 6 members Mark Kibble and Alvin Chea.  

Kenneth F. McCallion discusses Treason & Betrayal

This show aired live on Wednesday, June 13, 2019 at 5pm.  Detroit entrepreneur Abdul Gordan discusses unique grooming needs for men of color, then constitutional law and counterintelligence expert Kenneth F. McCallion discusses his new book.

He's a former Special Assistant Attorney General with the U.S. Dept. of Justice and New York  human rights attorney.

He also comments on the Mueller report.  

 

Community News then Lawyer & Therapists Bill Eddy

This show aired live on Wednesday 6-13, 2019 at 4pm (cst). My News from the Community came from Sharon Hurt, CEO of J.U.M.P. (Jefferson Street United partnership) presenter of the  19th Annual  Jazz & Blues Festival.  

Bill Eddy, best selling author, therapists, lawyer discussed his new book  "Why We Elect Narcissists and Sociopaths―and How We Can Stop".  This was really an interesting discussion.
