411 Show with Tracey Wilen and Tom Atkinson 12-13-18

This 411 Show aired live on Wednesday, December 13, 2018 from 4pm to 5pm.  My guests were researcher and speaker Dr. Tracey Wilen.  She discussed her 2018 predictions of disruptions from tech in the workplace and in culture.  Tracey who is returning to the show from earlier this year gives insight on technology as it relates to career confusion for the workplace, society, careers,, etc.  She'll return in January to continue this conversation. 

Travel Editor Tom Atkinson of Nashville has written a bucket list for Nashville: "100 Things to Do in Nashville Before You Die."  This was fun!  Tom writes for Southern Living.   

WFSK Artist of the Week Nils (his Christmas project)

This interview aired live on December 6, 2018 from 12pm to 1pm. (cst) 

This was the live feature that is done on WFSK 50 weeks a year, the Artist of the Week.  Thursday from noon to 1pm we play some prime cuts from the release, giveaway free CD's and talk live with the featured recording artist.  In December, I always have new holiday releases as the feature. Nils new album is Christmas Everyday", his first holiday project.   

My Guests are an Author and the Other is a Motivational Speaker

This show aired live on December 5, 2018 at 5pm. (cst)  In the first half hour my guest was bestselling true-crime author Michael Arntfield.  We discussed his book Monster City: Murder, Music, and Mayhem in Nashville’s Dark Age.

He spent more than fifteen years as a police officer and detective in Canada before going on to become a globally noted homicide scholar and criminologist, including a year spent as a visiting professor at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. There, he met retired Metro Nashville detective sergeant Pat Postiglione, and the vision for Monster City took shape.

 

Then, her from 411 show's empowerment and encouragement team member Adonis Lenzy.  He appears on my show quarterly.  Adonis is an author, speaker, and pastor who enjoys speaking to people from all walks and stages of life, inspiring them to live the life they have imagined by going after their dreams.  

We spent time on the subject of ways of keeping yourself from having a negative attitude and handling holiday stresses.  

Culture Your Culture Karen Jaw-Madsen

This show aired live on December 5, 2018.  We start with chatter then are joined by organizational expert Karen aw-Madsen.  She is returning from a prior show on her book "culture Your Culture".  This time we discussed what your workplace or business culture says about you or your brand and the messaging that it sends. 

Both large, small businesses and government were discussed.   

Letting God Be the Finisher

This show aired live on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 8am (cst)  The discussion was on the book "You Gotta Let God Finish!" with the author Dr. Siovaughn Funches-Wade.  This is her second book.  We cover forgiveness and shares scenarios about she overcame life obstacles and negative images from prior issues and uses Joseph's life in scripture to make the point of the book.

This show aired on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 7AM (CST).  It includes my newscast with my comments on some things, and chatter with my show's producer Xuam Lawson.  We always have differing opinions and some stuff is funny.  

WFSK Artist of the Week Stanley Clarke

This feature aired live on October 11, 2018 on WFSK in Nashville.  

This is about the 3rd or 4th time I have interviewed this legendary guitarist  and each time its pure joy.  He is s-o-o-o cool.  Stanley shares some memories about his friend and colleague the late George Duke and stories from his career.

This show aired in August 2018.  The guest is Mia K. Wright she is author of the book 'Unthinkable: Do the Unordinary to Experience the Extraordinary".  She is also co-pastor and director of ministry at The Fountain of Praise, a 20,000 member megachurch in Houston, Texas. 

WFSK Radiothon final hour 8a- 9am

This aired live on October 7, 2018.  WFSK's 12th Annual 48-Hour Radiothon Fall Fund Drive ends during the Sunday morning edition of my show.  This broadcast is of the 47th of the 48-hours.  

411 Show's Pastor's Roundtable for September 2018 (8am - 9am)

This aired on September 16, 2018.  The guest pastors are: Rev. Troy Holbert of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church and Rev. John Leveque of the Haitian Baptist Church.  We discuss a variety of topics impacting the lives of Christians.  

The Pastors Roundtable is on my show monthly and covers a wide range of subject matter and is begins at 7:30a and continues until 9am.
