The hour was started with the closing comments from the prior hour's guest Councilman Freddie O'Connell. My guest for the full hour was Community Oversight Board Member and Director of Black Votes Matter Timothy Hughes.

This hour was recorded from my live broadcast on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 4:00pm and covers many of the days top stories involving racial tensions, Confederate statues at the Capital, protests, etc. Senator Gilmore recently sponsored some legislation to get the bust of Nathan Bedfor Forrest out of the Statehouse.
It was voted down by the Republican led Legislature.
Also included in this hour was a conversation with with Metro Councilman Freddie O'Connell. He is 1 of the 14 Council members who are calling on the Nashville Police Chief Steve Anderson to step down amid his lack of confidence from a range of members of the community on the need to stop police brutality and make reforms.

Talented recording artist Freddie Fox who won a GRAMMY for rhythm guitar on the "George Benson & Al Jarreau "Givin' It Up"(2006) Concord Records. Here his fancy work on (I r on “Morning” & “Ordinary People”. He is road manager and husband to Evelyn “Champagne” King 1993 -2020.
We had a great conversation on his new release "Limitless".

The spotlight fell on Grammy considered guitarist Ronny Smith this week. He left University of Maryland as a music education major to pursue the life as a guitarist and a U.S. Army Bandsman. He toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe and South America.
We discussed his latest release "Raise the Roof".
