Travis Tullis, associate pastor of Priest Lake Community Baptist Church. We had a great deal of discussion about gentrification in Nashville and the community of faith. Many Black churches have moved out of the Black areas of Nashville which anchor the downtown corridor.
Dealing with dwindling congregations, neighborhood changes, cultural issues, etc. were discussed. The first 30 minutes of the 90 segment with the pastors is on the show dated 11/18/18 at 7am.

This show aired live on September 2, 2018. The author, Jennifer Ristine, spent four years as a tour guide in the ancient Galilean town, which is the site of an ongoing archaeological project. The book unveils the mystery of Mary Magdalene’s life.
“Historical tradition says she was a prostitute from Magdala,” said Jennifer Ristine, director of the Magdalena Institute at Magdala. “Reanalysing that reputation that she had we can see she was probably a woman of greater social status, higher social status, a woman of wealth who accompanied Jesus as we see in Luke 8:2, helping Jesus and his disciples with her own resources.”

Among the topics included at police involved shootings (how many there have been, etc.), do Black people have 2nd Amendment rights (Alabama Mall shooting)?, driver's license reinstatement's (law change), money bail, law changes, expungements, and resources and programs for the community.
The panel was excellent are include: Judge Rachel Bell, Sheriff Daron hall, Public Defender Marthesha Johnson, Criminal Court Clerk Howard Gentry and District Attorney Howard Gentry.

We had a wide ranging discussion on how the system gets so disproportionally dominated with people of color based on the statistic of 38% of Nashville's population being of color and more than 60% white.
This is hour 1 of 2-full hours devoted to this important to the community issues such as the justice system.
