Also, known at The Hormone Doctor, is a well-known, dynamic speaker on Functional and Anti-Aging Medicine we discussed quite a bit and I'm going to have him back on the show.

WFSK's music feature Artist of the Week is a good time to keep up on the new smooth & contemporary jazz releases and gt to know more about the recording artists. Keyboardists and producer Nicholas Cole a young dynamic talent who has been on the scene for almost a decade. His first interview with WFSK as Emerging new Talent in smooth & contemporary jazz was when he was 17-years old. He's now 26 years old and doing great things in songwriting, producing and playing the keys.
Nicholas' latest release is "The Weekend". He's a native of North Carolina.

This WFSK feature aired live on Thursday, August 22, 2019 with contemporary jazz saxophonist Steve Cole. Clearly, Steve is living the title of his new release "Gratitude" and shares what has him feeling this way now in his life and career. I've interviewed Steve Cole more 4 or 5 times over the years and introduced him on stage for performances and I really must say he was so enjoyable as this is one of the most because he truly is showing his gratitude in his attitude. The project flows and is truly smooth and very contemtpoary!
Steve is also a founding member of The Sax Pack, a stellar sax trio completed by Kim Waters and Jeff Kashiwa. When he's not on the road, Dr. Cole teaches music industry entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota where he is a Clinical Professor and Teaching Fellow.

The guest for the hour is Charles Stark, he's the president & CEO of the Music City Center, Nashville's convention center located in the heart of downtown. Open since 2013, the 2.1 million square foot facility has helped shape the footprint of our city. The citizens of Davidson County remember the discussions and conversations on making sure it would me the needs of our area and was built so that Nashville could host large, city-wide conventions in the downtown area.
Starks said "the mission of the Music City Center is to create significant economic benefit for the citizens of the greater Nashville region by attracting local and national events while focusing on community inclusion, sustainability and exceptional customer service delivered by our talented team members."
He also spoke at length about job opportunities and when asked addressed his strong desire to continue doing business with minority and women owned firms both large and small. This was a very good conversation.

This show aired live on 9-18-19 at 4pm (cdt) and included News from Community Segment from Dr. Robert Franklin, GM of WCSU at Central State University HBCU radio in Wilbur Force, Ohio, the 2nd guest was Attorney Glenn Matcun in Michigan.
Dr. Franklin is a Communications Dept. professor as well and is working with some of his students on a documentary on the unsung African Americans heroes to helped re-build the City of Dayton, Ohio following a devastating flood in 1913. Their documentary is based on a book "The Forgotten Hidden Heroes of the Dayton Flood of 1913. Two of Dr. Franklin students who have been researchers on the documentary were in the discussion. This is part of our HBCU Station-to-Station Communication recently established by WFSK and WCSU.
Also on the show that hour was certified Estate Planner and Elder Law Attorney and author Glenn Matecum to discuss some of the Queen of Soul's and Prince's estate planning mistakes and how to avoid them. His new book comes out in October and is entitled “Protecting your family from Probate and Long-Term Care Costs”.

This show aired on Sunday morning 8-25-19 at 8am. The guest was Father Albert Haase ordained a Franciscan priest in 1983, Albert Haase, OFM, is a popular preacher, teacher, spiritual director and guest on talk radio shows.
His new book is entitled "Becoming An Ordinary Mystic: Spirituality for the Rest of Us". He was on the show about 4 or 5 years ago and is an interesting person.
