This episode was recorded from my live show on Wednesday, 8-20-20 at 4:00 pm on WFSK 88.1 FM radio at Fisk University. The Wednesday Edition has a News from the Community Segment on the very beginning. This hour Ron Wynn a WFSK volunteer and longtime station talk show gives details about a restored film being shown virtually by the Belcourt Theater on Jazz.
My guest was Hannibal Johnson author of Black Wall Street 100--An American City Grapples With Its Historical Racial Trauma." It was good to have him back on my show after 10-years when his original interview was conducted. He's a very respected expert on Tulsa, Black Wall Street and its rich and tragic history. As an author, attorney & Consultant it was good to catch up with him to get latest development on that region as they relate to the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Massacre.
His first interview man years ago was on his book Black Wall Street–From Riot to Renaissance in Tulsa’s Historic Greenwood District; Up From the Ashes.
