Boyd is Price Chair for the Study of Race and Popular Culture and Professor of Cinema and Media Studies at USC.

 

The 2nd book  falls more into an empowerment mode with tips, etc. from Clinical Psychologists Angela Glaser Bowers, Ph. D.  She tells the remarkable true story of Emma, a fragile young woman, and her tenacious therapist.
